Loader Operators Wanted!

The Aggregate Loader Operator is essential in ensuring Premier becomes the Intermountain-West’s most utilized, loved, and prosperous aggregate company. This position will work 4 days per week and travel to each of our pits throughout the week.
JOB DESCRIPTION
As an Aggregate Loader Operator reporting to the Aggregate Manager, your primary responsibility is to efficiently load customer trucks while ensuring an exceptional experience. You are crucial to pit production and safety, minimizing downtime through proper inspection and operation. Your role directly impacts customer satisfaction by selecting the correct material and maintaining a smooth and safe loading process. Collaboration with the Aggregates Manager is key, as is taking ownership of your competence and proficiency in this role.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
· Efficient Pit Production: Operate the loader to load material into trucks efficiently, maintaining optimal traffic flow through the pit.
· Pit Safety and Compliance: Ensure pit safety and compliance with state and federal regulations, particularly MSHA standards, by maintaining roads, berms, and ramps.
· Team Player & Self-Leadership: Collaborate effectively with the Aggregates Manager and demonstrate self-leadership by taking ownership of your role and ensuring competence.
· Loader Maintenance: Take ownership of maintaining the loader in a safe and professional working order, conducting regular inspections, preventive maintenance, and repairs as needed.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

• Ability to understand and follow instructions in English.
• Be legally able to work permanently in the United States.
• OSHA 10 Certification is a plus.
• Ability to bend, squat, twist, and move freely in the performance of the position.
• Display good math, reading, writing and organizational skills.
• Ability to climb in and out of equipment many times during the course of the day's work.
• Must submit to and pass a pre-employment drug screen.
