Your Role at Delta Faucet
If you enjoy leading production work groups in a dynamic manufacturing facility, this role is for you! The 3rd shift Group Leader is responsible for day-to-day production activities on 3rd shift including safety, quality, on-time delivery, process improvement, training and employee engagement and development. In this role, you will also participate in short to mid-term planning for budget management, project coordination, support of new product launches, development of standardized work procedures and finding innovative solutions to issues.

Responsibilities

• Set clear performance expectations and goals for team leaders and their teams.
• Foster a positive and collaborative work environment, encouraging teamwork and open communication.
• Achieves and sustains targeted safety, quality, delivery, and cost metrics.
• Leading and sustaining compliance with plants Shop Floor Management System
• Lead and promote a proactive approach to ensure a safe working environment
• Lead, promote, and support continuous improvement activities
• Complete required audits
• Apply data analysis tools
• Appropriately staff and schedule departmental personnel with planning to ensure production requirements are met at lowest possible cost
• Coordinate and train all new team members
• Ensure and support machine set-up, maintenance and operations
• Development of Team Leader Skills.
• Develops, revises, and adheres to Standard Work
• Delivery Schedule attainment
• Support new product launch efforts
• Coordinate Team Member vacation time and record absenteeism
• Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

• Education and Experience: The ideal candidate will possess a Bachelors degree in Engineering, Business Management or related field with a minimum of two years supervisory experience preferably in a manufacturing environment (or equivalent combination of education and experience).
• Extremely strong team leadership and cross-functional communication skills
• Excellent analytical skills
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
• Ability to work with high a degree of reliability and self-reliance
• Excellent interpersonal skills
• Computer literacy with ability to learn new computer software programs
• Injection molding experience is a plus

Other Considerations:

• Candidate will work 3rd shift schedule onsite in our Morgantown, Kentucky facility
