Role Overview
We're seeking a Senior SEO Executive with extensive experience in agency management and a proven track record in shaping and implementing effective SEO strategies. This role is crucial in advancing our SEO efforts, driving performance, and ensuring that agency-delivered content aligns with our high standards. As a versatile and proactive team member, you’ll optimize our search visibility, increase organic traffic, and ensure our SEO approach adapts seamlessly to changing algorithms and industry trends.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead core SEO initiatives to enhance organic search rankings, increase site traffic, and improve overall search visibility.
- Conduct thorough keyword research and SEO audits to identify new opportunities.
- Optimize website structure, content, and user experience for better search performance and UX.
- Regularly monitor and analyse key SEO metrics (organic traffic, rankings and conversions) to track progress and adjust strategies as needed.
- Stay updated on algorithm changes and best practices to ensure strategies remain competitive.
- Collaborate closely with content, development, and marketing teams to integrate SEO best practices across all initiatives.
- Review agency content briefs, providing strategic feedback to ensure they meet quality and brand standards.
- Oversee link-building and outreach campaigns with agency partners to secure quality backlinks.
- Foster strong relationships with social media agency partners to ensure cohesive strategies that meet shared objectives.
- Develop regular SEO performance reports for stakeholders and senior management.
- Act as the primary point of contact for CMS-related updates and changes.
- Collaborate with clinical and compliance teams to ensure content meets regulatory and quality standards.
- Coordinate with freelancers and agencies on asset production, ensuring alignment with SEO goals.
- Support the SEO manager in overseeing agency output, ensuring high-quality deliverables and timely execution.
- Identify technical SEO issues, work with product and development teams to resolve them, and follow through on improvements.
Essential
- 1-2+ years of SEO experience, with proven success in delivering results.
- Expertise in GA4, Search Console, and SEO tools like SEMrush, Screaming Frog, SEOMonitor etc.
- Strong understanding of on-page, technical and off-page (digital PR) SEO.
- Experience with content management systems (CMS) and website migrations.
- Excellent analytical and reporting skills.
- Strong communication and project management skills.
- Experience in the healthcare sector.
- Familiarity with CMS platforms—Shopify experience is a plus.
- Exposure to social media management is an advantage.
Responsible for:
- SEO and content, and the performance of the organic channel (with SEO manager)
Pay: £40,000.00 per year
