Formby Hall Golf Resort & Spa is a leading luxury destination in the North West of England. Set in 200 acres of lush green landscape, boasting 2 function rooms, 2 meeting rooms, 76 bedrooms, a luxurious spa and two golf courses, we offer the perfect location for Weddings, Events, conferences, meetings, team building and so much more.
What are we looking for?
Experienced and dedicated F&B staff to cover our early breakfast shift service, who can consistently deliver the highest standard and quality of customer service, thereby ensuring that our guests have a memorable experience in the Fairway Bar and Grill and that service expectations are exceeded.
The hours for this shift will be from 7:00 am to 12:00, 5 days out of 7 but we are able to consider additional hours, working until 3:00 pm for the right candidate, as long as you can still accommodate the 7:00 am start.
Key responsibilities to include:-

• Warmly welcome guests to F&B areas, to efficiently take their order and answer any questions they may have.
• Ensure service delivery is of the highest standard at all times.
• Remain attentive to guests at all times, checking that they are happy with their choice of food and /or beverage; that glasses are replenished; new orders are taken.
• Maintain a comprehensive knowledge of the food and beverage menu and any specials of the day, including an ability to inform guests of menu content with regard to food allergies.
• Ensure all tables are set to the correct standard for the breakfast, lunch, dinner and events service within all F&B areas.
• Ensure all cutlery, linen, glassware and crockery are clean and polished and presentable in line with the Resort standards.
• Ensure the prompt clearing and cleaning of tables both during service and when guests leave, including resetting of tables and chairs to their default position.
• Ensure that cleanliness and hygiene standards are met at all times and to ensure that everything is tidied away at the end of each shift ready for the next shift.
• Take responsibility for taking immediate remedial action (or escalating to management) if there are any problems/complaints.
• Proactively and collaboratively work with all team members in the F&B department to ensure a consistent, seamless service is delivered to all guests.
• Check all guest account signatures and ensure all bills are settled.
• Respect the privacy and confidentiality of our guests.
• Perform any other duties that are deemed reasonable and within your capabilities as may be requested from time to time by the Resort management team.

Job Types: Part-time, Zero hours contract
Pay: £11.55 per hour
Expected hours: 16 – 30 per week
