Job Summary
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Support Worker to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in providing assistance and support to children, ensuring their wellbeing and development. This position requires effective communication skills, a background in childcare, and the ability to implement care plans tailored to individual needs. A driving licence is required for this role.
Responsibilities

• Provide direct support to children, fostering a safe and nurturing environment.
• Communicate effectively with children, their families, and other professionals involved in their care.
• Assist in the development and implementation of personalised care plans.
• Engage children in activities that promote their physical, emotional, and social development.
• Monitor and record children's progress, reporting any concerns to relevant parties.
• Drive to various locations as needed for activities or appointments.
• Maintain confidentiality and adhere to safeguarding policies at all times.

Qualifications

• Previous experience working with children is essential; experience in a similar support role is advantageous.
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Knowledge of childcare practices and principles.
• Ability to work collaboratively within a team as well as independently.
• A valid driving licence.
