Afternoon Cleaning Operative - School Term Time Only

We are currently recruiting for a cleaning operative to join our team with a relatively immediate start. This position will be based at a school in Waddesdon. The hours are 2.25 Hours per evening, Monday to Thursday, term time only.
The Role:
This position, based in a school, will require that staff, pupil and public areas are kept impeccably clean and tidy for everyday use. Key duties and accountabilities include:
· Ensure all areas are cleaned efficiently and in a timely manner to the required standards including but not limited to sweeping, vacuuming, mopping, emptying rubbish bins, servicing toilets and wiping down communal surfaces
· Use cleaning chemicals safely as detailed by the Control of Substances Hazardous to Health (COSHH) guidelines
· Ensure any cleaning stores are kept clean, tidy and stocked ensuring equipment is stored correctly and safely at all times
· Report any potential hazards on site to the line manager / Director
· Comply with all company and client policies and statutory regulations including Health and Safety, safe working practice, fire and COSHH
· Comply with any reasonable instructions from your line manager within the agreed timescales
· Complete mandatory training and e-learning within the agreed timescales

Previous Experience / Skills
· Previous cleaning experience desirable
· Understanding of Health and Safety requirements
· Ability to follow instruction and adhere to all statutory requirements
· Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
· High level of attention-to-detail
· Ability to work unsupervised and deliver quality work
· Demonstrate an adaptability to change and a willingness to embrace new ideas and processes
The Successful Candidate:
The successful candidate will be given a full induction into the company and training in their duties.
Due to the nature of our clients business an Enhanced DBS check will be conducted at the company’s expense.
Any job offer will be made on the condition of satisfactory results from DBS and reference checks.

Pay: £11.44-£11.78 per hour
Expected hours: 10 per week
