Position Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Pediatric Anesthesiologist to join our esteemed healthcare facility in Dubai. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing safe and effective anesthesia care to pediatric patients undergoing various procedures, ensuring the best outcomes and highest level of patient safety.
Key Responsibilities:

• Provide anesthesia care for pediatric patients undergoing surgeries and other medical procedures.
• Conduct pre-anesthetic assessments, including reviewing medical history, performing physical examinations, and ordering necessary tests.
• Administer general, regional, or local anesthesia to pediatric patients, ensuring appropriate dosage and monitoring throughout the procedure.
• Continuously monitor patients during surgery and recovery, adjusting anesthesia as required.
• Manage and monitor vital signs, respiratory function, and anesthesia depth, ensuring patient safety at all times.
• Provide post-anesthesia care, including recovery room supervision and managing potential complications.
• Collaborate with pediatric surgeons, pediatricians, and other medical professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care.
• Provide support and guidance to parents and guardians regarding anesthesia procedures, risks, and recovery.
• Maintain accurate and detailed medical records of anesthetic procedures, patient conditions, and outcomes.
• Stay current with the latest developments in pediatric anesthesia techniques, pharmacology, and safety standards.
• Participate in departmental meetings, educational activities, and quality improvement initiatives.
• Follow hospital policies, safety protocols, and regulatory requirements at all times.

Qualifications:

• Medical Degree (MD or equivalent).
• Board Certification in Anesthesia (preferably with a pediatric specialization).
• Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Pediatric Anesthesiologist in a hospital or clinical setting.
• Valid medical license to practice in the UAE (or eligibility to obtain one).
• In-depth knowledge of pediatric anesthesia techniques, pharmacology, and patient management.
• Strong communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with pediatric patients and their families.
• Ability to work well in a multidisciplinary team and manage high-pressure situations.
• Fluency in English (Arabic is an advantage).
• Excellent attention to detail and commitment to patient safety.
