Technical Manager (Poultry Industry)

Specific Duties
Competencies, Skill & Attributes:
- Working as part of the branded customer focus team to ensure business targets are achieved in accordance with business plans.
- Establishing good relation with customers, taking responsibility, visiting customers (in biosecurity rules) on regularly basis regarding Travel Plan, informing the customer about the findings after the visit, preparing the reports and recording them in the system. Preparing all necessary reports.
- Establishing good communication with all operational processes, informing in case of a problem and acting with a proactive approach, demonstrating to solve the problem by taking the necessary actions.
- Preparation of improvement plans for each customer in line with the data and findings received from customers, clear presentation of the current situation and opportunities through 6-month and annual performance reviews.
- Planning specialist (Nutrition, Veterinary, and Incubation) visits together with the Technical Operations Manager in line with the needs of the customers, participating in the visits in line with the demands and complaints of the customers and creating the necessary solutions.
- Provide a detailed monthly report containing team technical activities, product performance, emerging issues and competitor activities on a monthly basis to the STM.
- Organize, attend and contribute to the meetings.
- Prepare necessary supporting documents and lead technical discussion on their area of responsibility. Share the latest Aviagen technical documents and information with customers.
- As an individual keep up to date with learning and development to ensure up to date with technical advice, guidance and new technologies/advancements
- Fulfilling duties and responsibilities in line with the demands of the Technical Operations Manager and adapting to a flexible working program.
- Bachelor's degree in Veterinary Medicine and/or Agricultural Engineering.
- Have ~5 years of experience in a similar position.
- A good working knowledge of the poultry industry, Parent stock and/or Broiler generations.
- Knowledge of Veterinary, Incubation and Nutrition would be advantageous
- Dynamics 365 DCRM (preferred)
- Proficiency in MS Office applications
- Fluent in English & Turkish
- Ability to travel extensively (approx. 140 days / year)
