Summary
We are looking for a meticulous and motivated Junior Administrative Assistant to join our HR team. This entry-level role is focused on supporting payroll processing, employee data management, and payroll reporting, providing hands-on experience in payroll operations.
Principle Responsibilities
Payroll Processing
Administrative Assistant
- Assist with the monthly payroll processing for onshore and offshore employees by working with external payroll vendors to ensure accuracy and compliance.
- Collect, verify, and organize payroll data for submission to vendors, including timesheets, variance allowances, overtime, special incentive and deductions.
- Support statutory reporting requirements, such as Social Security, tax filings, and provident fund contributions, by coordinating necessary data with payroll vendors.
- Address payroll-related inquiries from employees.
Administrative Assistant
- Support the onboarding process by preparing documentation.
- Support maintains employee records.
- Support with ad-hoc administrative tasks.
- Process offboarding paperwork, conduct exit interviews, and manage asset returns for departing employees.
- Support HR initiatives to boost employee engagement, e.g. company events, workshops, and training sessions.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, Human Resources, or a related field.
- 1-3 years of experience in payroll, accounting, or HR administration.
- Basic understanding of payroll processing and statutory requirements.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, familiarity with payroll software is a plus.
- Ability to manage confidential information and maintain data integrity.
- Good command of written / spoken in English.
