• Experience in developing functional specifications, design verification plans and functional test procedures

The Ring Taipei hardware team is looking for a highly motivated and experienced Senior System Engineer to join our innovative hardware engineering team. In this role, you will work on developing and optimizing cutting-edge devices that delight customers worldwide. You will be responsible for system-level architecture analysis, design, and integration of various hardware components, ensuring they meet the highest standards of performance, reliability, and user experience.

Key job responsibilities

• Enhancement of the system-level functional design of Ring's hardware projects, from concept through production.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product managers, software engineers, and manufacturing partners, to define system requirements and specifications.
• Develop and execute strategy and calibrated the design or simulation .
• Identify and resolve system-level design consider with DFX (Cost, Quality, Test or Assembly)
• Work with functional team leaders of thermal, power, acoustic, camera, SI/PI and to define the Technology Roadmap , assess the impact and execution plan
• Provide technical guidance to the hardware and functional engineering team to mitigate risk either in New product Development or New Technology Initiative
• Master's degree in electrical engineering, computer engineering, or equivalent
• Experience working with interdisciplinary teams to execute product design from concept to production
• Experience with the project management of technical projects
