Job Description

EF Education First is seeking an experienced digital advertising professional with at least 5 years of hands-on experience in ad planning and optimization. This role is ideal for candidates with a background in advertising agencies or media planning who are ready to transition to the client side. You’ll take ownership of digital advertising strategies for EF in Taiwan, Hong Kong, and Macau, driving brand growth and business success. We’re looking for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, can work independently with minimal supervision, and takes pride in executing campaigns to the highest standards. This position reports directly to the Marketing Manager in Taiwan.

Key Responsibilities

Digital Advertising Strategy and Execution

• Develop and execute comprehensive advertising strategies on META platforms (e.g., Facebook and Instagram) to achieve brand awareness and sales growth targets.
  
• Manage advertising accounts, create and optimize campaigns to ensure effective audience targeting and placement.
  

Performance Monitoring and Data Analysis

• Monitor daily ad performance metrics, analyze campaign results, and make data-driven recommendations to improve outcomes.
  
• Prepare weekly, monthly, and quarterly performance reports to adjust strategies and ensure continual improvement.
  

Market Trends and Competitor Analysis

• Stay ahead of market trends and competitor strategies, exploring innovative ad formats and creative approaches to enhance campaign performance.
  
• Experiment with and optimize a variety of ad creatives to maximize results.
  

Collaboration and Communication

• Work closely with internal teams, including creative, product, and marketing, to align campaigns with overall business strategies.
  
• Maintain strong relationships with advertising platforms to stay updated on the latest tools and features and apply them effectively.
  

Creative Content and Audience Insights

• Understand target audiences for different products in different markets and develop highly tailored and engaging advertising content.
  
• Collaborate with the design team to create compelling ad creatives, from copywriting to visual direction.
  

Skills and Qualifications

Technical Expertise

• Proven experience in META advertising (Facebook, Instagram), with the ability to leverage third-party tools for creative planning and competitor analysis.
  
• Strong knowledge of advertising KPIs, with a data-driven approach to decision-making and campaign optimization.
• Excellent problem-solving skills, with a results-oriented mindset and the ability to break down complex issues into actionable solutions.
  

Teamwork and Adaptability

• Demonstrated ability to collaborate across teams and departments to achieve shared goals.
  
• Comfortable in a fast-paced, multi-tasking environment, with the ability to deliver high-quality work under pressure.
  

Language Skills

• Proficiency in Mandarin Chinese (reading, writing, speaking, and listening) is required.
  
• Strong English reading and writing skills; verbal proficiency in English is a plus.
• Bonus: Proficiency in Cantonese is an advantage.
  

Creativity and Market Awareness

• A strong understanding of social media trends, particularly in the overseas study and language travel industry.
  
• Skilled in brainstorming creative ad concepts, writing compelling copy, and planning impactful ad designs.
