• 8+ years of experience in supply chain management, fulfillment management, demand and supply planning, or related fields
• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, Engineering, or a related field (MBA or advanced degree is a plus)
• Strong understanding of supply chain concepts, inventory management, and production planning methodologies
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in both English and Mandarin Chinese
• Proven ability to work cross-functionally with technical and non-technical teams

As a Supply Planning Manager at Ring, you will be instrumental in orchestrating our global supply chain operations. Your primary focus will be on developing and executing production forecasts based on sales demand and capacity across multiple programs. You'll drive our contract manufacturers (CMs) to commit to Available to Ship (ATS) plans while balancing customer expectations, optimizing inventory levels, and minimizing costs. This role offers a unique blend of startup agility and Amazon's vast resources and scale.

Key job responsibilities

• Develop and execute production forecasts aligned with business objectives and customer demand for both New Product Introduction (NPI) and Mass Production (MP) programs
• Analyze production forecasts, sales trends, and historical data to optimize inventory levels and ensure product availability
• Collaborate closely with CMs to manage capacity planning, monitor component supplier performance, drive Available to Ship (ATS) plan and proactively address potential supply constraints
• Utilize advanced data analytics and reporting tools to provide insights, track KPIs, and communicate supply chain performance to stakeholders

A day in the life
The Global Supply Planning Manager will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including Material Management (MM), Factory Ops Program Management (FOPM), Global Planning, and Logistic teams, to gather inputs, drive consensus, and execute supply plans effectively.

• Experience in ODM supply chain management for high-volume and high-mix manufacturing
• Knowledge of factory operations and manufacturing processes
• Demonstrated ability to build and maintain effective stakeholder relationships
• Adaptability and agility in responding to unexpected events and circumstances
• Problem-solving skills, especially in situations without standard processes
• Experience presenting complex information to senior management
• Proficiency in root cause analysis and process improvement initiatives
