Objectives of the Position
You will:

• Responsible for Kaohsiung site instruments and accessories routine/ to perform the preventive maintenance & troubleshooting works
• Collaborate and work with the team on MOC/CAPEX/OPEX that are related to instrumentation area
• Support the annual planning for maintenance and upgradation of aging instruments and accessories (ex. safety barrier, wire loop, controller…) to enhance instrument reliability
• Follow and compliance with BASF EHS regulation requirements in the area of responsibility

Main Tasks

• Manage production related instruments and accessories maintenance works via SAP system
• Plan and implement instrument related MOC/project/improvement works
• Plan and implement instrument related preventive maintenance works
• Plan and implement instrument related daily routine, urgent maintenance and troubleshooting works
• Review and manage MRO spare material of instruments and accessories effectively in SAP system
• Manage effectively for assigned “My Area My Responsible” to meet company’s EHS standard
• Maintain effectively and ensure SIS instruments and accessories in the highest equipment reliability
• To be a backup and supporter of electrical engineer at site
• Responsible for managing and leading external/internal contractors to implement instrument related tasks at site

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or above in instrument, electrical engineering related discipline is preferred
• Minimum 5 years of practical experience in instrument related maintenance works in chemical industrial field is a must
• Middle command of listening, speaking, reading and writing in English
• Basic knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, Power Point is a must
• Familiar with SAP system application is a plus
