Job Purpose (Job Summary):
The job is to supervise and manage the Transfer Agency(TA) Department and to assist Head of Operations in implementing the company policies and projects
Your Role:
- Supervise TA team to complete the routine Transfer Agency matters with accuracy and efficiency; Oversight the outsourced vendor performance and resolve issues timely; Manage client issues ensuring appropriate resolution, including regular liaison with clients, relationship manager and other operational manager to provide a seamless service
- Work proactively and collaboratively with the Compliance Team to ensure the accurate completion of client due diligence information and timely escalate any issues
- Recommend best practices and process improvements; Implement sufficient internal controls to comply with the regulations and business strategy; Develop and implement department objectives, policies and procedures, as well as furnishing overall supervision and coordination of the transfer agency activities
- Coaching and developing staff
- Other tasks assigned by Head of Operations
The Experience You Bring:
- Bachelor’s Degree or above in business area of concentration.
- 8 years or above transfer agency or related work experience in SITE industry.
- 2+ years of managerial experience in the financial sector
- Knowledge of transfer agency operations for onshore SITE funds or Investment Linked Plans (ILPs) products is preferrable
- Good command in English (written and spoken)
- SITE/ SICE License
- Teamwork player
- Strong responsibility and self-managing
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Good organization skills, detail oriented and able to work under pressure with tight deadline
- Familiar with Excel and Word.
