Department Intro:
At Micron, our AMHS Sustaining Group is at the forefront of maintaining and optimizing the Automated Material Handling Systems (AMHS) that ensure flawless production execution. Our team thrives in a collaborative environment where technical prowess and innovative thinking are paramount.
Position Overview:
Join our team in Taiwan as an AMHS Maintenance Engineer. You'll undergo comprehensive training in Taichung for six months and play a crucial role in maintaining and troubleshooting our advanced AMHS systems. Your expertise will improve operational performance.
Responsibilities:

• Supervise and develop shift team members to ensure efficient performance.
• Maintain and troubleshoot the OHT system, Normal/Tower STK, BWS, Sorter, OLUS, OHS, STB/N2 STB, TS300RV, and N2 purge standalone.
• Strictly adhere to safety, environmental, and security procedures to ensure compliance and actively participate in the EHSS program.
• Identify, design, and successfully implement modifications to equipment hardware, software, and procedures.
• Work closely with vendors to solve equipment-related issues and drive system improvements.

Qualifications & Skills:

• Proven ability to troubleshoot failures requiring advanced knowledge and skills.
• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple events or tasks simultaneously and set schedules based on task and project needs.
• Strong interpersonal skills to effectively communicate complex ideas and issues to team members, area leadership, and other management levels.
• Competence in project management, including initiating new projects and defining the scope of work.
• An approach that actively seeks to reduce costs and foster a cost-conscious culture.

Education and Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• Previous experience in a maintenance role, preferably within a high-tech or semiconductor environment.
• Hands-on experience with AMHS systems and related technologies is highly desirable.
• Proven track record of working effectively in a collaborative, fast-paced environment.
• Experience in training and developing team members to ensure knowledge transfer and continuous improvement.
