JR68779 Micron PDE Materials Characterization Associate Engineer (EA/ EB)
Responsibilities

• Responsible for actual alpha particle testing in Taiwan laboratory on new packaging BOM
• Collaborate with package characterization engineer/s in carrying out materials testing, alpha particle testing and solder joint reliability plotting and data analysis
• Assist materials engineers for annual lab documentations updates and maintenance
• Participate in additional radiation reliability simulations such as alpha ion travel modeling works assigned by engineer/s on new packaging materials
• Reliability characterization tracking and forecasting for new NPIs, post reliability survivor analysis
• Be the Point-of Contact pertaining to all aspects of assigned products/modules, involve in laboratory 6S audit, cleanliness maintenance etc.

Requirements

• 1~ 3 years of package reliability laboratory operation, documentation and technical writing relevant experience
• BS in Electronics/ Mechanical/ Physical Science/ Business management
• Well-versed in English language proficiency

• Familiar with basic semiconductor materials and assembly processing
• Well-versed in Microsoft office applications
• Basic understanding of package alpha particle count analysis and testing activities, Teamcenter and material science

• A team player equipped with excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Possess initiative and ability to work independently.
• Basic statistical analysis skills and preferably familiar with JMP/ Minitab/ SPSS software
