We are hiring an ICT Apprentice as ICT-Fachmann/-frau EFZ for our data centers in Switzerland.

In this role you will join our Data Center Operations Team who is responsible for the maintenance and repair of our IT hardware components (server/storage/network). In AWS data centres, as an Apprentice you will be trained in high standards for operational performance in the areas of safety, security, availability, productivity, capacity and efficiency. You will interact with different departments and subject matter experts to drive solutions on complex problems

Duration: 3 years
Start date: August 2025
Location: broader Zurich area

What we offer:
The apprenticeship program lasts 3 years and includes classroom learning and on the job training.
The practical training will take place at the AWS data center sites, where you will be trained by
experienced data center professionals and vocational trainers across a wide range of IT Support activities like the following:

• Deliver IT technical support to internal users for PC, network devices and conference systems
• Diagnosis and subsequent physical repair of hardware and network problems
• Perform root cause analysis of IT equipment failures
• Install new hardware according to internal procedures
• Update internal documentation to support other users

You will be given the chance to work in different areas of our company and have access to a wide
range of training materials to expand your knowledge in cloud technologies.
