We are hiring a Node JS Backend Engineer to join our team in Spain!

Position Overview: As a Backend Engineer, you will play a critical role in the development and maintenance of our backend services. You will work closely with our front-end developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to deliver high-quality, reliable, and scalable applications. This role requires a deep understanding of server-side logic, database interactions, and efficient code execution.
Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain server-side applications using <button>Node.js </button>and Type Script.
• Design and implement scalable and robust APIs.
• Collaborate with front-end developers to integrate user-facing elements with server-side logic.
• Optimize applications for maximum speed and scalability.
• Troubleshoot and debug applications to ensure their smooth operation.
• Implement security and data protection measures.
• Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code.
• Participate in code reviews and contribute to team knowledge sharing.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a Backend Engineer or similar role.
• Strong proficiency in Node.js, Java Script, and Type Script.
• Experience with frameworks like Express or Koa.
• In-depth understanding of RESTful APIs and web services.
• Familiarity with database technologies such as Mongo DB, My SQL, or Postgre SQL.
• Knowledge of version control systems like Git.
• Experience with containerization and orchestration tools (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes) is a plus.
• Understanding of agile methodologies and CI/CD pipelines.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

Nice to Have:

• Experience with streaming or OTT (Over-The-Top) projects.
• Familiarity with video streaming protocols and technologies.
• Knowledge of media servers and content delivery networks (CDNs).
