We are currently looking for a passionate, ambitious and self-motivated Senior Backend Developer (Ruby) located in Spain to join our client's development team. We are looking for strong technical people who are able to challenge the CTO's opinion and develop innovative solutions together. The client is a startup offering an exciting project that will enable the whole company to innovate.

Tasks

As a Senior Ruby Developer, your role will include:

• Developing clean and efficient Ruby code for high-impact projects.
• Design and implementation of scalable, event-driven architectures. The company is currently on the path from monolithic to microservices.
• Identifying and resolving complex technical challenges with innovative solutions.
• Collaborating with AI tools and exploring modern technologies.
• Maintaining and improving proprietary frameworks for better performance and productivity.
• Driving CI/CD practices to ensure seamless development and deployment workflows.
• Working closely with the CTO and with an interdisciplinary team to deliver exceptional results.

Requirements

✅ Essential:
You should apply if you...

• Have 5+ years of Ruby experience (10 years preferred).
• Are fluent in English.

• Utilizing GCP cloud infrastructure.
• Implementing advanced CI/CD practices.
• Prioritizing developer productivity and efficiency.
