JBT Foodtech Spain is looking for our next GL Accountant to join our Global SSC based in San Fernando de Henares

JOB REQUIREMENTS AND QUALIFICATIONS

Education and Experience:

• Bachelor´s degree in Accounting or equivalent.
• 2-3 year experience in General Accounting & Accounting in multinational company.
• SSC Experience
• Knowledge of ERP Solutions (Syteline/SAP/JDE) and Hyperion or equivalent.

Specialized Knowledge, Equipment, and Applications:

• Strong Accounting knowledge
• US GAAP Reporting knowledge
• Transactional processes and problem solving.
• SOX/Internal Controls knowledge.
• Strong PC skills (Word, Excel, Power Point)
• Data Accuracy.
• Strong ability to work with minimal supervision
• Ability to perform under pressure and deliver under tight deadlines.
• Problem solving
• Planning and organizing
• Communication and teamwork

Languages:

• High Level of English mandatory

The Opportunity ... :
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Perform GL daily activities, with a teamwork spirit and creating good atmosphere within the team.
• Support on the daily operations of the General Ledger area: Reporting, Reconciliations, analysis, Blackline tasks …
• Month end closing tasks: Reporting in HFM, Consolidation, Intercompany, Accruals, Prepaid.
• Used as GL Expert for all other SSC teams.
• Guaranteeing all general ledger transactions are performed under a strong internal controls framework.
• Ensure appropriate controls are in use so that US GAAP Financial Statements are correctly reported following JBT Financial Standards.
