Import Sales Officer

We are searching for an experienced Import Sales Officer at our MSC Saudi Arabia - Jeddah facility.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities:
Generate sales to achieve maximum profitability against annual sales targets.
Identify and exploit new sales opportunities with existing and potential customers.
Monitor customer accounts within the allocated sales area to ensure that sales potential is fully exploited.
Establish and maintain effective communication links with other company departments to identify all sales opportunities.
Maintain accurate records of all sales activity and prepare regular forecasts to enable effective forward planning.
Maintain an awareness of company products and of relevant sales techniques to ensure that the sales role is carried out as effectively as possible.
Maintain working relationships with assigned client base to cultivate business.
Grow account base in territory by closing new business in all service categories we offer (Imports/FCL/ Project Cargo)
Inform and educate our customers on our rates, regulations/procedures regarding all aspects of our business.

Review accounts to identify problems, proposed changes in pickup, schedules, rates, handling requirements, etc.
Follow up with customers to discuss new opportunities and resolve problems.
Full Knowledge of CRM and other platforms that offers services to the customers.
Marketing the new initiatives of the company, such as e BL and others
Any other tasks assigned by the direct manager.

Required Qualifications:
Minimum Qualification
Bachelor’s degree in Sales, Trade or related field
Minimum Experience
At least 2 years’ experience in a similar role/industry is preferred
Technical Competencies (Knowledge, Skills & Abilities)
Excellent sales and interpersonal skills
Intermediate to advanced Microsoft Office skills (Word, Excel, Power Point and Outlook)
Excellent verbal and written English – Bilingual (Arabic/English)
Organized and able to meet deadlines
Use the right tone with clients and managers (phone/email) to represent the company in the best manner.
Replying to emails within no more than 3 hours
Time management
Multi-tasking
Dedicated personnel
Checking emails even outside the hours of work.
