About Role

We are seeking an experienced Database Architect to join the team that creates new complex solutions for government clients from the Middle East.

Your impact

• Design scalable, high-performance database architectures
• Define and enforce database architecture standards and best practices
• Collaborate with development and operations teams to ensure seamless integration
• Lead database design, including schema design, indexing, and partitioning
• Optimize database performance through tuning and query optimization
• Implement security, backup, and disaster recovery strategies
• Oversee data migrations, ETL processes, and data pipelines
• Ensure data governance, quality, and integrity
• Stay updated on emerging database technologies and trends
• Provide technical leadership and documentation for architecture solutions

Requirements

We are looking for someone who has

• 5+ years of experience as a Database Architect or similar role
• Expertise in database technologies (SQL, My SQL, Postgre SQL, Oracle, No SQL)
• Strong experience in database design, optimization, and architecture
• Proficiency in security, backup, and disaster recovery for databases
• Experience with cloud-based databases (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) and clustering/replication
• Knowledge of ETL processes and data warehousing
• Strong problem-solving and leadership skills
• Certifications (AWS, Oracle) are a plus
