THE ROLE INVOLVES:
In the Public Cloud Platform team, you become part of a global team that works on establishing the right landing ground for new workloads on AWS to build upon.
Your team will consist out of 4-6 other AWS Cloud Platform Engineers that work on making a safe, compliant, and consumable platform.
You’ll also be working together with other engineers and colleagues from (for example) the Development Services team, that help support the move from our current on-premise way of working to the AWS Cloud Dev Ops way of working.
Responsibilities:

• Support building of our future security reporting functionality
• Standardize and improve CI/CD pipelines
• Advocate for security in Dev Ops
• Drive security automation
• Measure and report security metrics
• Collaborate with developers on software requirements
• Encourage and build automated processes wherever possible
• React quickly to feedback to continuously improve processes
• Informally train and share your Dev Ops knowledge within the team
• Build a bridge to the cloud platform teams

TECHNICAL PLAYGROUND:

• 5+ years of experience as a Dev Ops Engineer
• Proven experience with working on AWS using Ia C (CDK)
• 5+ years of experience working with Java, Type Script or Python
• Strong understanding of development, security, and operations
• Experience working with code version control tools like GIT
• Knowledge of security tools and frameworks
• Experience with AWS Services categories specifically used by our partner:
  • Compute
  • Storage
  • Serverless
  • Databases
  • Container
  • Data analytics
  • Security
• Expertise in CI/CD tools and platforms (e.g., Jenkins, Git Lab, Git Hub Actions)
• Experience in automation and testing via scripting & programming

NICE TO HAVE:

• AWS Solution Architect Certification or AWS Developer Certification
• Awareness of critical concepts in Dev Ops and Agile principles
• Setup and configure CI/CD pipelines in a Microservices architecture landscape
• A demonstrated record of achievement in large technical (migration) projects
• Ability to keep up with software and cloud development trends and innovation
• Understanding of financial services and risk management in general
• University degree in Computer Science/Engineering
