RINA is currently recruiting for a Romania Non - Food Certification Junior Auditor to join its office in Bucharest within the Certification Europe Region Division.

Mission

This role will support the audit process for the ISCC and FSC certification schemes, focusing on planning, execution, and management of audits.

Key Accountabilities

Assist in the preparation and management of the audit program;
Support the review of customer documents (manuals, procedures, records) for compliance;
Help plan and execute audits under the guidance of senior auditors, including taking notes and conducting interviews;
Assist in identifying audit results, such as non-conformities and improvement opportunities;
Help draft audit reports and follow up on non-conformities and corrective actions;
Learn and assist in technical reviews of documents related to certification decisions;
Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry best practices and certification standards;
Assist in maintaining customer data and audit records;
Collaborate with senior auditors and external consultants to ensure the smooth running of the audit process;
Support customer relationships by addressing queries and assisting in providing technical information.

What are we looking for

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Chemistry, Chemical Technology, Environmental Management, or a related field;
1-2 years of professional experience, preferably in a related field (experience with audits is a plus);
Fluent in English (both written and spoken);
Proficient in MS Office ( Excel, Word, etc.);
Strong attention to detail and ability to analyze and interpret technical documents;
Ability to work effectively in a team and collaborate with colleagues and external consultants;
Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to interact with clients and stakeholders;
Basic knowledge or interest in ISCC and FSC certification schemes is preferred;
Willingness to learn and develop skills in the auditing and certification process;
Good time management skills and the ability to prioritize tasks effectively;
Willingness to travel for on-site audits;
A customer-focused mindset with the ability to assist in managing client relationships;
Ability to take initiative and be proactive in supporting audit activities;
A valid driving license.
