The Mission
Within the NFR Business Support Functions (BSF) & Assurance department, you will be part of a team of 6 NFR Officers located in Amsterdam and Bucharest. You will closely work together with IRM colleagues of the CTO domain who manage the IT applications and infrastructure of the applications in BSF.
Working with a variety of internal stakeholders offers an environment which not only provides the overview on how Information (Technology) risks of the global processes at Head Office are managed, but also provides the opportunity to further support the enhancement of global (IT) processes services delivered like Know Your Customer and Global Payroll System.
Your day-to-day
- Reviews and challenges risk assessment sessions for identifying information risks and identify appropriate mitigation measures;
- Performs Second Line Monitoring role in IT Generic Key Control/SOX Testing processes;
- Provides Quality Assurance on Control Compliance & IT Risk Management activities;
- Executes Deep-dives and/or IT Risk & Maturity Assessments in the domain of BSF;
- Participates in important transformation programs, challenging and advising on information risks.
- Provides interpretation of ING Group IT Risk policies & Minimum standards;
- Contributes to the development and maintenance of IT Risk Management governance documents and methods.
What you’ll bring to the team
- University BSc Degree or equivalent, preferably in IT field;
- 4 - 5 years’ experience in IT Risk Management or IT Audit;
- Knowledge of and experience with, IT Risk Assessments, IT Control Assessments or IT Audit assignments;
- Collaboration skills and ability to work across both functional and geographical lines;
- Pro-activeness and persuasiveness;
- Good analytical skills and sound judgement;
- Fluent in English (written and spoken).
Would be considered a plus
- Having professional education and an international certification for Information (Technology) /Risk Management (e.g. ISC2, ISACA accreditations);
- Knowledge of Banking business, processes, procedures, systems and associated laws & regulations;
- Knowledge and experience in one or more IT Security areas.
