Head of European Loss prevention

As the European Head of Loss prevention, you will:
- be responsible for safeguarding the organization from potential losses, fraud, legal processes, and other risks by developing and implementing effective loss prevention strategies
- work closely with senior leadership to ensure the efficient management of security, fraud prevention, anti-money laundering, information security, and business continuity across Europe.
Key Responsibilities:
- Strategic Leadership: Develop and implement the European Loss Prevention strategy aligned with organizational goals, ensuring industry best practices are applied in areas such as security, fraud prevention, anti-money laundering, and business continuity.
- Department Management: Lead, recruit, and develop a high-performing team of Loss Prevention specialists across European markets. Manage budgets and resources for optimal performance.
- Crisis Management: Oversee actions in emergency situations, ensuring risks are mitigated and future threats are addressed.
- Technology & Process Oversight: Ensure the organization’s technological systems and processes are secure, guaranteeing business continuity and minimizing the impact of malfunctions.
- ISO Certifications & Compliance: Lead efforts to maintain ISO certifications and compliance with relevant security standards (e.g., OHSAS 18001).
- Team Development: Foster a work environment focused on continuous learning and skill development within the Loss Prevention Department.
What We’re Looking For:
- Qualifications in any of the loss prevention areas: e.g., CPP, Nebosh, CPA, ACCA, IIA, CIA, CFE, CISA, CISM, CISSP, SSCP.
- At least 8 years experience in leading a team of specialists in areas such as fraud, AML (anti-money laundering), personal security, information security, business continuity in a large organization.
- Experience managing fraud prevention in the financial sector or another high-risk sector.
- Proficiency in business English (written and spoken) at C2 level
- Strong capability in managing teams, setting strategic objectives, and driving organizational change
- Strong skills in managing change and aligning teams with evolving organizational needs.
- Higher education degree.
