Join Our Team in Qatar as a System Engineer!
Seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented System Engineer (AGL CNS ATM ). The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring Installation and Maintenance of AGL ,CNS & ATM systems . Ability to work autonomously or as part of a larger team and be able to plan strategically to support the needs of the business. To carry out the duties associated with the day-to-day installation of systems, including AGL, focusing primarily on preventative and reactive Airfield Ground Lighting installation and maintenance and providing full support .
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide technical expertise in relation to projects involving AGL systems and other airport systems
- Supervision of site work execution; control & monitor the quality of workmanship as per project requirements or approved mock-up work activity.
- Work alongside colleagues from other disciplines to deliver project design solutions in a timely manner to high quality levels.
- Experience of various international design standards, such as FAA or ICAO.
- Assist the technical or construction team in preparation of the method statement, ITP, and work procedure.
- Supervise site activities to ensure it is according to QA/QC normal practice and carry out remedial action or mitigation measures to rectify the non-compliance work issue.
- Monitor the site work progress in line with the baseline schedule and undertake the preparation of daily site reports required by the project.
- Ensure inspection and testing frequency are met in accordance with approved method statement and Inspection & Test Plan
- Provide a summary of on-site activities to the construction manager.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in Electrical
- OEM Honeywell/ADB training certificates / AGL training certification
Experience:
- At least 5+ years of strong demonstrated experience in installation and troubleshooting in airfield ground lighting is required.
- Minimum 3 Years of CNS ATM system design and deployment experience and minimum 2 years of experience as PMC/design consultant
