Senior Planning Engineer

Job Description:
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Planning Engineer to lead the planning, execution, and delivery of projects by developing and maintaining comprehensive project schedules, monitoring progress, and providing strategic insights for on-time and cost-effective completion. The ideal candidate will bring technical expertise, leadership, and a collaborative approach to ensure project success.

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Planning Engineer to lead the planning, execution, and delivery of projects by developing and maintaining comprehensive project schedules, monitoring progress, and providing strategic insights for on-time and cost-effective completion. The ideal candidate will bring technical expertise, leadership, and a collaborative approach to ensure project success.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop, monitor, and update project schedules and progress reports to ensure alignment with project objectives.
- Conduct delay analysis and prepare Extension of Time (Eo T) claims.
- Collaborate with project managers and stakeholders to maintain schedule integrity and address potential deviations.
- Create resource-loaded schedules, cash flow projections, and progress curves.
- Identify potential risks and propose effective mitigation strategies to maintain project timelines.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, including Equal Opportunities and Harassment Policy.
- Perform additional duties as required to support project goals.
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
- Experience: At least 7 years of experience in planning and scheduling. Minimum of 3 years of experience in Qatar.
- Certifications: PMP (Project Management Professional) or PSP (Planning & Scheduling Professional) certification is preferred.
- Proficiency in Primavera P6 and other project planning tools.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and coordination abilities.
- A results-driven mindset with attention to detail.
Ability to commute/relocate:
- Doha: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)
