Job Summary

The Research Assistant provides academic support to senior researchers (principal investigators) throughout all phases of research projects and assists in implementing research-related activities at the Institute.

Key Responsibilities

• Research Support:
  Assist principal investigators in all phases of research projects, including proposal preparation, fieldwork planning, data collection, analysis, and dissemination.
  
• Writing & Reporting:
  Collaborate with principal investigators to write papers, articles, and reports based on survey findings.
  
• Progress Reporting:
  Prepare progress reports and other documents related to survey management as requested by the principal investigator.
  
• Meeting & Event Participation:
  Actively attend and participate in meetings and research-related events as requested by the Head of Research or principal investigators.
  
• Training Assistance:
  Assist in setting up training activities related to the work of the Institute, in coordination with the Administrative Assistant or relevant parties.
  
• Other Duties:
  Perform additional duties as assigned by the Institute.
  

Qualifications

• Qualifications

  Education and Certifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant discipline, such as health, education, sociology, political science, or economics.

  Languages:

  • Language Proficiency:
    Excellent command of English and/or Arabic (both written and verbal).

  Experience:

  • Demonstrated expertise in research.
