Job Summary
We are seeking a qualified Orthopedic Surgeon to join our clinic team. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality medical care to patients with musculoskeletal disorders and injuries.
Key Responsibilities
1. Provide medical care to patients with musculoskeletal disorders and injuries.
2. Conduct physical examinations, take medical histories, and order diagnostic tests as needed.
3. Develop and implement treatment plans, including prescribing medications and recommending surgical interventions.
4. Perform surgical procedures, including joint replacements, osteotomies, and fracture reductions.
5. Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, including physiotherapists and occupational therapists, to provide comprehensive care.
6. Maintain accurate patient records and reports.
7. Participate in quality control and quality assurance activities.
8. Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines.
9. Provide patient education and instructions as needed.
10. Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in orthopedic surgery.
Requirements
1. Medical degree (MD) or equivalent.
2. Completion of a residency program in orthopedic surgery.
3. Valid license to practice medicine in Qatar, issued by the Qatar Council for Healthcare Practitioners (QCHP).
4. Minimum 3 years of experience as an orthopedic surgeon.
5. Proficiency in English and knowledge in Arabic .
6. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
7. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
8. Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
9. Familiarity with Qatar's healthcare regulations and standards.
Qualifications
1. Certified by the Qatar Council for Healthcare Practitioners (QCHP) as an orthopedic surgeon.
2. Registered with the Ministry of Public Health (MOPH) in Qatar.
3. Fellowship training in a subspecialty of orthopedic surgery (e.g., joint replacement, sports medicine).
4. Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
5. Knowledge of orthopedic surgery safety protocols and guidelines.
6. Familiarity with electronic medical records (EMRs) and practice management systems.
