Responsibilities:
- Assist senior chefs in food preparation and cooking
- Measure, chop, season, and mix ingredients accurately
- Prepare basic dishes like salads and sauces
- Maintain kitchen cleanliness and hygiene standards
- Take inventory and track kitchen supplies
- Receive and organize food deliveries
- Dispose of expired food items
- Plate and present meal items as directed
- Support kitchen operations during busy periods
- Follow all food safety and health regulations
Requirements:
- High school diploma or culinary certification
- Food handler's license preferred
- Basic knowledge of culinary techniques
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Strong organizational skills
