As an IT Ops Specialist, what are you going to do?

• • Testing, Deploying, and configuration of new systems
  • Defining and contributing to routine system maintenance procedures
  • Proactively identifying faults both remotely and at sites. Responding to escalated incidents and guiding/performing break/fix activities when errors and faults occur.
  • Liaising with customers when on-site, remotely, and proactively communicating with the global ITOps community, providing visibility and insight on escalating issues, and identifying areas where service can be improved;
  • Providing on-site early life support and training peers and other support teams on the full IT and SW stack
  • Analyzing system performance proactively
  • Participating in the development of Technical Support Specialists through supervision, coaching, and upskilling sessions, generating a culture of accountability for actions
  • Create, update, and maintain documentation and contribute to training materials.
  • Compliance with company policies including Health and Safety, Vehicle use, Expenses, etc.
  • Ensure that Environment and health are integrated into all activities and that adherence to EHS Policies and procedures, as well as ISO 9001, ISO 14001, and ISO 45001 compliance, is strictly maintained. Complete all the compulsory training related to them.
  • Comply with the information security and data privacy policies and procedures adopted by Vision-Box. Report any information security or data privacy incidents or weaknesses immediately. Complete all the compulsory training related to information security and data privacy.

What are the skills and professional experience we’re expecting from you?

• Entry understanding of the full compute stack for configuration management and provisioning: Physical IT hardware installation and troubleshooting, Storage (small SANs, RAID configuration), Networking: Switch and routers configuration (pref. Cisco, Dell, Aruba), Firewalls (Fortigate, Checkpoint), Load balancers (HA Proxy, F5 LTM, A10);
• Experience with OS: Windows Server, Linux;
• Experience with Virtualization (VMWare, Hyper-V);
• Entry knowledge of network protocols (TCP/IP, HTTP, AMQP, NTP, SNMP);
• Entry knowledge and experience in automation development (Powershell, Python, Bash);
Proficiency in English;
