Recruitment Officer to join OSM Thome’s Team
OSM Thome is seeking a Recruitment Officer to join our enthusiastic team at OSM Thome Gdansk office; this role is ideal for someone with recruitment experience and the will to share and support with expertise to a highly respected company within Marine Services. Role overview: As Recruitment Officer you will be responsible for recruiting qualified crew members according to the requirements of the Customers, per legal requirements and company policies. The role also maintains general monitoring of crew requirements, and leads improvement initiatives.
Key Responsibilities

Source for qualified applicants to fulfil the crew requirements of the Customers
Conduct initial screening according to the qualifications required by the Customers
Ensure that all required documents of the candidates are collected and scanned
Responsible for ensuring that the application system information of the applicants is updated with the required information and all documents related to the application
Check and ensure that the original documents of the applicants are valid and authentic
Conduct a background check with the candidate's previous working experience
Ensure that crew employed always has the necessary training and certificates required by statutory rules and regulations, as well as Company requirements

Required Competencies

Extensive experience in the field of recruitment
Experience in recruiting manpower in the same industry is an advantage
Good communication skills – written and verbal in English and Polish
Proficient in the use of Office Productivity tools
Detail-oriented
Good negotiation skills
Able to generate reports and statistical analysis
