Tasks:

• Adherence to contractual milestones by continuously monitoring the progress, the Risks and Opportunities which have been established by the project team at Kick-Off.
• Ensures that the project follows execution best practices and HE policies and guidelines. Effectively monitors and controls project progress, and efficient resource utilization.
• Acts as Customer voice internally, being a key contact for the customer and an escalation point for new project issues. Builds and maintains strong relationships with customer and effectively communicates with all stakeholders.
• Continuous reporting to PMO (Project Management Office) out of periodic review meetings.
• Effectively communicates or facilitates communication of appropriate information to mostly internal project stakeholders
• Uses HE Tier accountability principles to escalate the critical deviations, or customer claims. Trigger and support appropriate corrective action plans, or escalation as required.
• Collects new customer demands as a formal and documented variation request, and establishes related variation offer from all stakeholders’ inputs. Follow the variation offer until it’s ordered, delivered, and invoiced.
• Controls documentation accuracy and consistency, based on Project Management processes and/or PMO guidance.
• Monitors project financials (e.g. projects costs, profitability) together with project controller.
• Captures, analyses and shares lessons learned throughout the project.

Requirements

• Bachelor or Master in Mechanical Engineering or similar
• Proven experience as a project manager for railway or industrial application projects
• PMP certification is an advantage
• Good knowledge of SAP and Office tools
• Ability in motivating and empowering team members
• Fluency in English, Basics in French, German is a plus.
