Job Description

Inbound Monitoring:

• Monitor and record all incoming import shipments from intercompany vendors.
• Assist brokers with customs clearance requirements.
• Handle legal customs requirements for annual permit and license renewals.
• Support FSIA in identifying the availability of incoming shipments for backorders and inform relevant parties, including service jobs.
• Communicate with factories via email for price inquiries and delivery lead times.
• Verify invoice prices from factories/suppliers.
• Prepare and maintain summary lists for all inbound shipments and each broker’s billing, including coding, scanning, and submission for accounting.

Other Tasks and Issue Resolving:

• Follow up on outstanding orders with vendors.
• Investigate and resolve issues with material part numbers and incorrect data in SAP.
• Run and analyze weekly reports using tools such as Sales Order Monitor and Purchase Order Monitor.
• Collaborate with global teams to resolve issues through My Quest, SNOW tickets, or directly with colleagues like divisional data specialists.
• Confirm and expedite delivery dates for purchasing parts as requested.
• Plan for consumable items.
• Sort documents related to the role's functions.
• Support other supply staff when necessary.
• Perform other duties related to orders as assigned.

Requirements:

• Experience handling customs processes and documentation.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Data handling experience (desirable).
• Minimum of 12 months business experience (desirable).
• Some experience using SAP and/or databases (desirable).
• Proficient user of Microsoft Office Suite, including Word and Excel (essential).
• Strong analytical and data handling skills (essential).
