Job Purpose
The Supply Planning Manager supports the Demand Planning Manager in ensuring that stores have the optimum inventories at any given time. He/she ensures that demand forecasts, supply plans, and purchase plans are properly created and sent weekly to the corresponding stakeholders. This role will work closely with Strategic Partnerships, Logistics, and Warehouse teams to ensure the continuous availability of supply from end-to-end to meet sales requirements. The Supply Planning Manager is the inventory owner of all the categories assigned to him/her, and is expected to collaborate with different departments to ensure sell-out of products.
QUALIFICATIONS:
● Bachelor’s Degree in Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain Management, or any related program
● Knowledge on ERP and other related tools (Net Suite, Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, etc.)
● Excellent problem-solving, mathematical, and analytical skills
● Experience with statistical analysis
● In-depth understanding of inventory management practices and procedures
● Capability to adapt to a fast-paced environment
● Excellent written and verbal communication skills
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
●Manage a healthy inventory and ensure fill-rate compliance of Re-ordered products
●Ensure there is enough MOH at Warehouse in the anticipation of delay in replacement, a spike in sales, force majeure, etc.
●Manages inventory levels in the near-term and lead monthly meetings on SLOB (Slow-Moving and Obsolete) stock, driving cross-functional collaboration to create disposition plans and securing authorization for the disposal of obsolete materials.
●Ensures supply availability to minimize operational downtimes and eliminate potential lost sales while still optimizing transport costs
●Establish a service level agreement between Supply Chain and Strategic Partnership
●Review Buying Plan with Strategic Partnership to ensure proper depth and breadth
●Monitor incoming goods (In-Transit) and review the Allocation by Strategic Partnership
●Analyzes historical and current inventory movements
●Manages the calculation of monthly/weekly orders based on the sales forecast, Months on Hand (MOH), supplier lead time, and warehouse storage capacity
●Develops and implements process improvements to the inventory management systems and processes
