Site Engineer (Piling Inspector)

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Site Engineer (Piling Inspector) to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing and inspecting piling works on construction sites to ensure compliance with project specifications, safety standards, and quality requirements.
Key Responsibilities:

Conduct inspections from layout, splicing, pile driving, and alignment checking.
Witness rebound and PDA tests on behalf of the client
Inspect delivered materials such as steel pipe piles and sheet piles. Assist the civil/structural inspector, from time to time, in the inspection and supervision of other structural and civil works e.g. reinforcing steel bars, bollards, anchor bolts, concrete, and steel structures.
Do inspections on behalf of the client for the piling works to verify and confirm that such works are in accordance with the contract’s requirements
Daily site monitoring across multiple project areas
Monitor physical progress of works and quantities
Review contractor’s site reports
Collaborate with project managers, contractors, and other stakeholders to ensure effective communication and coordination

Qualifications:

Established 10+ years’ experience in construction works
Proven experience as a Site Engineer or Piling Inspector in the construction industry
Strong knowledge of piling techniques, equipment, and materials
Formal qualifications in relevant engineering discipline (i.e. licensed Civil Engineer)
Focus on client service
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

The position is site based (Manila) and will work on a project-based contract with possible extension.
