General Summary:
DPC is looking for technicians that are interested in working in a fast-paced environment and consider their work A+. This person should be a good communicator and a person who can manage well when the client is in a pickle and really needs strong guidance. This person should be capable of handling all issues at a computer level. Most importantly, this person should be eager to learn while following prescribed procedures.
Position Responsibilities:

• Provide Level 1 support
• DAILY time entry accounting for at least 8 hours
• Check Backup Logs and update the tickets or reports
• Check Anti-virus
• Onboard Managed Service Clients
• Stage New Computers
• Assist Sr. Technicians on Larger projects

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

• Capable of installing and troubleshooting all basic computer components (e.g. Power supplies, NICs, Video Cards, Motherboards, CPUs)
• Capable of manually installing network printers
• Capable of terminating jacks and punch downs
• Experience required with Windows desktop operating systems
• Understanding of TCP/IP and troubleshooting Internet connectivity
• Understanding of the relationship between switches, patch panels and connecting nodes to a network
• Working Knowledge of Wireless Technologies, Capable of installing and troubleshooting WAPs
• 2 year College Degree or equivalent (4-year degree preferred)

Credentials and Experience:

• New hire with no certifications
• Eager to learn
• Takes direction from Technicians
