Location: NUST H-12, Islamabad- Pakistan
Requirements for the position:

• Degree in Computer Engineering/Electrical Engineering/ Computer Science.
• Extensive hands-on experience with C language programming.
• Device driver development experience, preferably Ethernet and PCI/PCIe drivers.
• Deep concepts of operating system design especially Linux, embedded Linux, and Free RTOS.
• Familiar with memory handling, pointers, and multi-threading.
• Familiar with Linux kernel, IPC, process model, multi-threading, locking mechanism, and device driver model.
• Good grip on networking protocols, TCP/IP stack, protocol header format, VLAN, MPLS, and tunnels.
• Hands-on with any of the networking tools like Wireshark, tcpdump, scapy or any traffic generator and analyzer tools.
• Familiar with the use of Linux OS like Ubuntu, Cent OS.
• Contribution to any open-source project is good to have.
• IPsec cryptography working experience is considered good to have.
• Familiarity with OVS, DPDK, Virtio, SRIOV, IPSec, RDMA is a big plus.

Any knowledge about NIC, Smart NIC, or DPDK-Soft NIC is a plus.
