Timing: 9 PM to 6 AM, 5 days a week (aligned with US business hours)

Back Tech is at the forefront of providing comprehensive back-end and virtual assistance services. As we embark on our next phase of growth in Karachi, we are looking for a HR Assistant to join our team. This role demands a unique blend of expertise in Pakistani and US employment standards, including a strong grasp of local regulations and practices, alongside a qualification or experience in Human Resources Management. The selected candidate will play a pivotal role in supporting our team, facilitating recruitment processes, and ensuring compliance with labor laws as we expand our operations.
Roles and Responsibilities
- Recruitment and Onboarding: Assist in recruitment processes and ensure a seamless onboarding experience for new hires, focusing on compliance with Pakistani employment laws and regulations.
- Payroll Administration: Handle payroll administration tasks for both company and clients’ employees, including data entry, verification, and addressing payroll inquiries promptly.
- Employee Relations: Address employee concerns and effectively resolve workplace issues to maintain a positive and productive work environment.
- Benefits Administration: Support benefits programs and assist employees with inquiries and changes related to their benefits.
- HR Records and Documentation: Maintain accurate HR records, ensuring data integrity and preparing reports as needed.
- Policy Implementation: Implement and communicate HR policies and procedures to employees, ensuring understanding and compliance.
- Employee Engagement: Contribute to employee engagement initiatives and events to foster a strong company culture and enhance employee satisfaction.
- Inventory Management: Maintain accurate records of office inventory, including supplies and equipment, ensuring availability as needed for efficient operations.
- Technical Proficiency: Advanced competency in Excel is essential for effectively managing HR-related data and information
- Analytical and Leadership Excellence: Demonstrated ability to analyze HR data and lead strategic initiatives, with a proven track record in team leadership within an HR setting.
- Communication: Fluent English communication skills, with the ability to simplify complex HR-related information for effective communication within the organization.
- Organizational Aptitude: Ability to manage multiple tasks autonomously in a dynamic setting.
- Educational Background: Bachelor's degree in Human Resources Management or related field, with a strong understanding of HR principles and practices.
- Professional Experience: Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in human resources, with exposure to various HR functions.
- Competitive Salary: Range of Rs 50,000 to Rs 55,000.
- International Exposure: Experience working with diverse HR standards and practices, catering to a range of clients and organizational requirements.
