Job Summary:
The Assistant Manager (AM) – Retail Sales is responsible for assisting in the day-to-day operations of the retail store, ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction, and leading a team to achieve sales goals. The AM will work closely with the store manager to ensure smooth operations, implement sales strategies, and maintain excellent customer service standards.
Key Responsibilities:

• Sales Management:
• Assist in setting and achieving sales targets, and drive sales growth.
• Monitor daily and weekly sales performance and implement strategies to maximize sales.
• Analyze sales trends and customer preferences to adjust sales strategies accordingly.
• Customer Service:
• Ensure excellent customer service by overseeing customer interactions and resolving any issues or complaints.
• Provide product knowledge to customers and help them make informed purchase decisions.
• Train and coach sales associates to maintain high service standards.
• Team Leadership:
• Supervise, mentor, and motivate sales associates to meet sales goals and deliver exceptional customer service.
• Assist in staffing, scheduling, and performance management of the sales team.
• Support team development through training, coaching, and feedback.
• Operational Support:
• Assist in managing inventory, including stock replenishment, organization, and stocktaking.
• Maintain the visual merchandising standards of the store to ensure product displays are attractive and aligned with brand guidelines.
• Ensure the store is well-maintained, clean, and properly stocked.
• Enforce company policies and procedures, including cash handling and security measures.
• Store Administration:
• Help with daily store operations, including opening and closing the store.
• Ensure all sales transactions are accurately processed and maintain records as required.
• Monitor store expenses and assist in budgeting and cost control.
• Marketing & Promotions:
• Assist in planning and executing in-store promotions and marketing campaigns.
• Help with inventory management during promotional periods and ensure promotional displays are set up effectively.

Qualifications & Skills:

• Education: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience in retail management, business administration, or related field.
• Experience: 2-4 years of experience in retail sales, with at least 1 year in a supervisory or assistant management role.
• Skills:
• Strong sales acumen and ability to drive sales performance.
• Excellent leadership and team management skills.
• Ability to analyze sales data and implement strategies.
• Exceptional customer service skills.
• Good understanding of retail operations and merchandising standards.
• Proficient in using point of sale (POS) systems and basic office software.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: Rs60,000.00 - Rs80,000.00 per month
