Job Title: Project Manager (Civil)

Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Project Manager with a strong background in Civil
Engineering to oversee and manage the successful delivery of complex civil infrastructure
projects. The ideal candidate will have excellent leadership skills, a strong understanding of civil
construction, and the ability to effectively manage resources, timelines, and project risks.
Key Responsibilities:
 Project Planning and Management:
o Lead the planning, design, and execution of civil engineering projects, including
roads, bridges, buildings, and utilities.
o Develop detailed project plans, including timelines, budgets, and resource
allocations.
o Monitor project progress to ensure milestones are met and that the project is
completed on time, within scope, and on budget.
o Ensure all project activities are conducted in compliance with relevant
regulations, industry standards, and safety protocols.
 Team Leadership:
o Lead and manage project teams, including engineers, contractors, and other
stakeholders.
o Assign tasks, set priorities, and monitor the performance of team members to
ensure productivity and quality standards.
o Foster a collaborative team environment, providing direction and support to
ensure successful project execution.
 Client and Stakeholder Communication:
o Serve as the primary point of contact between the client, project team, and
other stakeholders.
o Regularly update clients and stakeholders on project progress, risks, and issues,
ensuring alignment and transparency throughout the project lifecycle.
o Resolve conflicts or issues related to the project by maintaining strong
communication with all parties involved.
 Resource and Budget Management:
o Manage project budgets, ensuring cost-effective utilization of resources and
materials.
o Review and approve contracts, change orders, and invoices from contractors and
vendors.
o Oversee procurement and logistics to ensure timely delivery of materials and
equipment.
 Quality Assurance and Risk Management:
o Implement quality control measures to ensure that work meets required
standards and specifications.
o Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies to avoid delays or cost
overruns.
o Conduct regular site inspections and ensure adherence to safety regulations and
company policies.
 Reporting and Documentation:
o Prepare and submit detailed project reports, including progress updates, budget
status, and schedule tracking.
o Ensure that all project-related documentation, including contracts, reports,
permits, and drawings, is up to date and organized.
o Maintain records of project changes, risks, and approvals.
Required Qualifications:
 Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
 Minimum of 7-8 years of experience in project management for civil engineering
projects (e.g., roads, bridges, infrastructure).
 Strong knowledge of project management principles, construction methods, and civil
engineering design.
 Proficiency in project management software (e.g., MS Project, Primavera).
 Experience with cost estimation, budgeting, and contract management.
 Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
 Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and work under pressure.
 In-depth understanding of health, safety, and environmental regulations.
Preferred Qualifications:
 Project Management Professional (PMP) certification or equivalent.
 Experience in large-scale infrastructure projects.
 Familiarity with advanced engineering tools such as Building Information Modeling
(BIM).
Working Conditions:
 Full-time position with a combination of office-based and on-site responsibilities.
 Ability to travel to various project sites as needed.
 Willingness to work in varying environmental and weather conditions, especially during
