Valve Engineer - Actuated Valves

Responsibilities and tasks:
- Provide technical input for package strategies - and compile technical requisitions and specifications for inquiries and purchase orders
- Execute technical pre-order activities
- Oversee and coordinate technical procurement tasks
- Manage and approve supplier documents and drawings
- Plan, execute, and coordinate technical follow-up activities
- Review and assure quality of supplier documentation
- Update and provide input to engineering databases
- Collaborate with customer technical specialists
- Support site work and respond to technical queries
- Participate in performance tests and inspections at supplier facilities
- Bachelor, Master or other relevant education
- Senior engineer with substantial offshore project experience, ready to step directly into the role and perform tasks from day one.
- Specific expertise with actuated valves
- Knowledge of On/Off (EV, XV, HV, HIPPS), Control (PV, LV), Choke, and PSV valves, particularly with Equinor frame agreement vendors
- Familiarity with design rules, regulations, and standards, including NORSOK
- Proven ability to lead procurement for discipline or multi-discipline packages
- Proficiency in MIPS and TIME systems
- Strong communication skills, proactive, team-oriented, and able to take ownership of tasks
- Available for work in Norway!
- Good communicative skills in English and team player
- Valid work permit in Norway (or being located within the EU)!
