Join Our Team as a Package Responsible Engineer!Are you passionate about engineering and looking for a challenging role in the procurement of manual valves and piping components? We are seeking a dedicated Package Responsible Engineer (PRE) to join our dynamic team in Trondheim.

What will you be doing?

PRE = Package Responsible Engineer, responsible for the technical side of manual valve procurement
Establish technical requisitions and specification for procurement of valves and piping components
Technical follow-up of deliveries, documentation and suppliers Technical queries
Establish and maintain specifications for piping and valves
Establish specifications for piping special items
Work closely with the customer’s technical specialists
Participation in performance tests and other inspections at supplier’s premises

We think you should have:

Education:

Higher technical education (MSc or BSc) in a relevant area.
Relevant work experience or a Certificate of Apprenticeship/Vocational College can compensate for education requirements.

Experience:

Detailed knowledge of piping valves, including On/Off (EV, XV, HV, HIPPS), Control (PV, LV), Choke, and PSV valves.
Experience in establishing and maintaining specifications for piping and valve items.

Standards Knowledge:

Familiarity with relevant standards and specifications used in the North Sea.
Good understanding of ASME B31.3.
Experience with EN 13480, Pressure Equipment Directive, and knowledge of EN 13445.

Language Skills:

Proficiency in Norwegian and English, both written and spoken.
