At Stokke, sustainability is not just about environmental responsibility but also ensuring long-term financial sustainability. The company takes a holistic approach to integrating sustainability into its core business strategy, with a particular emphasis on accurate reporting and transparency in sustainability efforts. The sustainability team plays a critical role in driving initiatives that align with both the company's environmental objectives and its financial goals.
In collaboration with the finance team, the sustainability team is responsible for collecting, analyzing, and reporting on key sustainability metrics that impact both environmental performance and financial health. By closely monitoring sustainability-related KPIs, they provide insights into how sustainability efforts contribute to Stokke’s overall financial sustainability. This includes reporting on areas like carbon footprint reduction, sustainable sourcing practices, and long-term product durability, ensuring that these initiatives not only meet environmental standards but also support Stokke’s financial resilience.
The sustainability team works to embed sustainability across Stokke's financial reporting, ensuring that investors and stakeholders are informed about the economic benefits of sustainable practices. Whether it’s through driving efficiency in resource use or improving product life cycles, the team’s work directly contributes to the company’s financial sustainability, helping Stokke grow responsibly while minimizing its environmental impact.
