Electrical Power System Engineer / Elkraft ingeniør
Description
- The position will join a team working 100% with different kinds of electrical power system analysis.
- The position is in the maritime and offshore department.
Requirement
- A master's degree in electrical power systems (Elkraft) with very good results is an absolute mandatory for the position.
- The position requires a person who has very good theoretical skills.
- The ideal candidate has 1-2 years of project experience from Norwegian projects in Norway.
Our client does an extensive range of different type of analyses, typical analysis:
- AC and DC power system studies like short circuit, selectivity, THD, arc flash.
- Short circuit analysis, protective device coordinator for AC and DC systems, Harmonic calculation
- Arc flash analysis, loas flow analysis, resonance calculation, dynamic studies like motor start analysis and stability.
- Dynamic studies, Earth fault calculations, battery lifetime calculation, Fuel saving, CO2 and NOx
IT Systems
- The main tools will be Matlab/Simulink and Sincal (internal client system)
Duration
- Start asap with one year duration in the first place, but with possibilities for extension or perm position.
Workplace
- Bergen, 5 days a week
