Our client is a foremost commercial bank in Nigeria. Due to expansion, they are in need of a PROJECT MANAGER.
LOCATION: Lagos
RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Define project scope, objectives, and deliverables in collaboration with senior management and stakeholders.

• Serve as the primary point of contact for project stakeholders, including clients, senior management, and cross-functional teams.

• Identify and assess project risks, develop mitigation strategies, and monitor potential impacts on project outcomes.

• Resolve project issues promptly, ensuring minimal disruption to project timelines and budgets.

• Coordinate internal and external resources to ensure efficient project execution and adherence to quality standards.

• Oversee project budgets, track expenses, and ensure projects stay within financial constraints.

• Provide regular budget updates to stakeholders and recommend adjustments as needed.

• Track and analyze project performance, including KPIs and other metrics, to ensure project goals are met.

• Prepare regular project status reports for senior management and provide insights into project progress.

• Ensure all projects comply with regulatory and bank-specific standards.

• Maintain comprehensive project documentation, including plans, reports, and historical records.

REQUIREMENTS

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Project Management, or any relevant field (MBA or PMP certification is a plus).

• Proven experience in project management within the banking.

• Strong understanding of commercial banking products, services, and regulatory requirements.

• Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.

• Proficiency in project management tools (e.g., MS Project, Asana, Jira) and financial tracking systems.
