We are a reputable construction company based in Abuja. We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Accountant to join our team.
The ideal candidate should possess a minimum of atleast 3-5 years of hands-on experience in accounting and have a strong understanding of financial principles. The position offers the opportunity to work in a dynamic environment where your contributions will directly impact the financial integrity and success of the company.
Key Responsibilities:
Prepare and maintain accurate financial records and reports.
Assist in the preparation of tax returns and financial statements.
Manage accounts payable and receivable, ensuring timely payments.
Analyze financial data and provide insights to improve financial performance.
Support month-end and year-end close processes.
Ensure compliance with accounting policies, procedures, and regulations.
Any other job that may be assigned to you by your supervisor or management.
Requirements:
At least a minimum of 3-5 years of cognitive experience in accounting or a related field.
Proficient in Accounting software.
Professional certification like ICAN etc. is an additional advantage.
Strong knowledge of accounting principles, tax regulation, and financial reporting.
Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
A Degree/ HND or Masters in Accounting, Finance, or a related field preferred.
Salary: #250,000 to #300,000 but still negotiable.
Location: Abuja and other locations (Must be willing to relocate)
