Are you a Kaiawhina with skill and compassion to support whanau experiencing family harm?

We are seeking the services of a professional to assist our team to ensure our whanau feel safe and supported and to make a change in the lives of not only whanau today but future generations.

Specifics of the role

• Engaging with Victims (Kaimamae) and their wider Whanau to assess risk, identify protective factors, complete safety planning, advise on police processes, offer supports arranging On-Referrals for specialised support..
• Building relationships with other Government and Non-Government Agencies working in the Family Harm space.
• Instituting/participating in, and/or facilitating Professionals Consult.
• Providing support for the Police Family Harm Team, as required.

Key Accountabilities:

• Engaging with diverse Individuals - Ages, Cultures, Ethnicity and Gender.
• Excellent Communication Skills (including Active Listening).
• Problem Solving.
• Maintain accurate Records.
• Positive Engagement with other Teams (Internal External).

Utu a-tau | Salary

This position is covered by a collective agreement and salary will commence between $80,295 and $83,973 dependent on skills and experience relevant to the role.
