This position is fulltime and permanent, the successful candidate will be based from our Vulcan site in Palmerston North.
This role is Monday - Friday 10.30am - 7pm with opportunities for overtime.
We require you to be reliable and able to work with attention to detail and safety standards. On-the-job training is a good way to discover how to do the job better, so you should have willingness to learn and improve. Being a team player is essential as this role requires close collaboration with co-workers. The goal will be to ensure that production procedures are carried out smoothly to maximize efficiency and profits. This role is leading our small afternoon shift team.
Requirements
We require you to be reliable and able to work with attention to detail and safety standards. On-the-job training is a good way to discover how to do the job better, so you should have willingness to learn and improve. This role is remunerated by an hourly rate and time and half is paid for hours above 40.

- Forklift licence
- Good level of physical fitness – this is a physical job
- Good attention to detail
- Ability to work overtime if required
- Team player
- Good sense of humour
- Minimum full class 1 drivers licence
- Intermediate level of skill with technology
- Reliable
- Excellent understanding and adherence to health & safety procedures
- Experience Leading a team
- Experience with an overhead gantry crane would be preferrable
